PRIMARILY FOR USE WITH BLACK WATER TANKS
Sensors make living with tanks in your RV easier. It's a fact. Yes, you can survive without them. You can crawl underneath your rig or peer into a porthole to find out your levels. You can dump your black water at every single opportunity you get so you don't have an overflow problem. Or you can, heaven forbid, open the port in the toilet and shine a light down in there to look. Have fun airing out your RV for the next five hours. All of this isn't RV living. This is being a slave to your tanks. Do the right thing. Do the sensible thing and seriously consider adding some Miracle Probes from RecPro to your RV's tank systems.
Now that you're taking a serious look at adding probes to your tank that will make your life on the road exponentially easier, you probably have some questions. You might ask, "Hey, RecPro, what makes your probes so miracle-y?" Well, let's look at a common problem suffered from run-of-the-mill probes. In your black water (and gray water) you have offal floating around. Bits of food, toilet paper, and other forgettable whatnot. While you're driving down the road that water (black or gray) is sloshing around inside the tanks. When you finally stop and go to take a tank reading it can read full. How? Some of the trash inside the tanks can get hung up on the sensors and give a false reading.
The miracle is the extended sensory pin and hood. The hood prevents almost all refuse from getting hung up on top of the sensor and the pin, which is over an inch and a quarter longer than the standard button-head sensor, can take a more complete reading of your liquid level. This means you'll get the right reading so you're not panicked into working on your tanks. You can do what you came to do; relax!
